Covid-19 has forced many businesses to change polices and we are no exception. Below are a few changes to our usual operating procedures which will remain in effect until it is safe to go back to “normal.”
-We are no longer able to safely have people come and play with their babies between placing a deposit and the bird being weaned. We are deeply saddened to lose this opportunity and we look forward to being able to reinstate it in the future. In the mean time we will gladly facilitate video chats etc for you to view the baby you have made a deposit on, as well as ask questions and get updates.
-We are always careful when scheduling delivery of birds for those who are not planning to pick up their baby in person, however the last year has shown us that occasionally airlines have to change policies at the last moment. Because of this buyers need to have a back up plan to obtain their baby before committing to a deposit.
-We prefer that local people pick their babies in person but with Covid concerns we are now allowing even locals to choose their baby via video chat instead of coming in person. For those who are able to come in person we are limiting the number of people per visit to two individuals.
